The VitalHotel Ascona looks back on more than 40 years of gastronomic tradition and is located in the beautiful spa town of Bad Bevensen.
With a magnificent view of the park-like hotel gardens, the house is located near the spa gardens and the iodine-thermal-bath.
The Pension Kurhotel Ascona was built in 1972 by the Dreyer family (who are also namesake) and in 1977 by the spouses Krupp (Bevenser coffee merchant and wife, at that time living in Guatemala City) bought and run by the Westlund family, later by Mrs. Westlund-Feige.
Since 2007, the house is under the direction of the daughter of the owner family Barbara Drux and the longtime employee Martin von Eynern.
The host tradition has evolved as a philosophy of the company continuously and consistently and is now maintained with the next generation. The Hotel Ascona has set itself the goal of inspiring its guests. First-class service, where the host role is paramount and the effort to always be a class better.
The slogan “Far away from everyday life and yet at home” is no coincidence. To fulfill it with life and reality is the ultimate goal of all efforts made by the “Ascona Team”. If we succeed in satisfying the guest in all areas of the hotel, so that he likes to come back and pass on to others how beautiful it is for us, then we have reached our goal.
